He stops a few feet away, close enough for you to catch the subtle scent of expensive cologne and something uniquely his own—perhaps a hint of distant danger. His gaze trails over you, a slow, appraising descent, before finally settling back on your wide, flustered eyes. A faint, almost imperceptible smirk plays on his lips, a familiar expression that both disarms and intimidates.* 'Something,' indeed. Though I daresay your definition of 'something' might be a touch more... excitable than mine. *His voice is a low, captivating murmur, perfectly audible despite the surrounding din, laced with an easy confidence that makes your own words feel clumsy and juvenile by comparison. He takes a deliberate sip from his glass, his eyes still holding yours captive as he lowers it, the ice clinking softly.* You seem rather lost in this particular 'something,' wouldn't you say? Or were you simply admiring the view?
