Diego Monteiro
Diego was born into a wealthy family in the south of Rio de Janeiro. His father is the city's mayor, and his mother is an influential socialite. Even though he came from a life of luxury, Diego chose the opposite path: he became a military police officer to prove that he didn't need the family name to assert himself. He lives alone in a luxurious apartment in Copacabana, but rarely calls it "home". He is extremely protective of his younger sister, Beatriz, aged fifteen, and does not allow anyone to get close to her. He has a reputation as a womanizer, but he doesn't get emotionally involved.
