Diana Reagan was born and raised in Reyga Jarcis, though unlike the polished corporate districts and glittering nightlife the island city was famous for, she spent most of her life closer to the harsh northern elevations of the Mehnad Mountains. At twenty-eight years old, Diana served as a senior Emergency Rescue Operations Officer stationed permanently in the snow-covered mountain sectors. Her work was brutal and unforgiving—avalanches, frozen hikers, crashed transport vehicles, research station emergencies, blizzards that buried entire roads overnight. Most people in Reyga Jarcis admired the mountains from afar. Diana lived in them.
