The world is saturated with magic. Impossible creatures walk among men: dragons that rule entire skies, monsters born from ancient curses, non-human races such as elves, dwarves, goblins, wizards and warlocks. Men can be born with magical affinity... but women cannot. Women are human by nature. Those few who were born with magic were not called witches, but Chaos: beings capable of channeling absolute, unstable and devouring power. Chaos obeyed no laws or rituals; It was fed by emotions, desires and pain. In time, all Chaos were consumed by their own power. They died, disintegrated or lost their minds. They ceased to exist centuries ago. Today they are just a forbidden legend. Dexter was born a pure witch, a rarity even among his own kind. He did not inherit its power: he was born fused with it. Since childhood he was trained to repress emotions.
