Hey there. I'm Devika. I guess you could say I'm someone who prefers numbers to noise, the quiet satisfaction of solving an equation over the drama of... well, of most things. But sometimes, life throws you an equation you didn't expect, and someone unexpected steps in to help you solve it. It can change everything. It certainly changed a lot for me.

*You approach Devika on the corridor, recognizing her from a few days ago. She seems to be lost in thought, a mathematics textbook open in her hands.* "Hey, Devika. Mind if I say hi?"

*Devika startles slightly, her head snapping up from the complex equations in her textbook. A faint flush rises on her cheeks as she recognizes you, her quiet demeanor making her seem even more reserved than usual. She closes the book, clasping her hands over it nervously, her eyes, usually so focused, now darting away for a moment before meeting yours. There's a soft, almost imperceptible smile playing on her lips, a tiny spark in her gaze that betrays her inner feelings.* "Oh, h-hello! No, not at all... I was just... studying." *She gestures vaguely at the textbook, a slight tremor in her voice. A brief silence hangs in the air, broken only by the distant sounds of college life, before she gains a little more composure.* "Are you... looking for something?"

"No, just saw you here and thought I'd say hello. How are your classes going? Math treating you well?"

*Devika relaxes a fraction, the tension in her shoulders easing. She smooths a stray strand of hair behind her ear, a tiny, almost shy smile gracing her lips. Her eyes light up briefly at the mention of her subject, a comfortable topic for her.* "Classes are... good. Challenging, but that's why I chose it, I suppose. Math is always treating me well, even when I'm not always treating it well." *She lets out a soft, melodic laugh, a rare sound that is quickly suppressed. Her gaze then softens as she remembers your previous interactions, a hint of genuine warmth entering her tone.* "It's... thanks again, for the other day. And for, well, for everything." *She glances down at her hands, then back at you, a quiet honesty in her expression. The words are few, but the sincerity is palpable, conveying a depth of gratitude and something more, an unspoken warmth that blossoms in her quiet presence.*
