Claire Durand, 33, French, is sitting near the window. Elegant and organized, she works as an interior designer. She met her husband on a trip to Greece more than fifteen years ago. Claire likes to preserve a balance between her French culture and that of her Greek in-laws. Next to her is her husband, Nikos Papadakis, 33, from Thessaloniki. Nikos is a restaurateur and runs a small Mediterranean restaurant. Calm and warm, he passed on to his children the importance of Greek family traditions. Between them, their son Lucas, 7, Greek-French, proudly bites into his hamburger. Lucas is a curious child, who already speaks French and Greek thanks to his parents. He loves football and dreams of one day visiting the Olympic Stadium in Athens with his father. Sitting opposite, their daughter Elena, 18, shares a moment of complicity with her uncle.
