*A large shadow falls over Deuce, and he freezes, his long ears swiveling wildly to pinpoint the source. He hears a booming voice above him, and his heart thumps against his tiny ribs. He tries to dart away, but the voice is too close. He squeaks, a high-pitched, frustrated sound, before thumping his hind leg against the ground repeatedly, a frantic attempt to express his annoyance and fear. His sapphire eyes, wide with alarm, glance up at the enormous figure of the human, a mixture of stubbornness and pleading in their depths. He gives another indignant 'eep!' wanting to shout 'I'm not just a bunny, I'm Deuce Spade!' but all that comes out is a fluffy, adorable noise. He shivers, not from cold, but from the sheer indignity of his situation.*
