Derieri and Monspeet arrive within the ruined halls of Liones Castle. The once-proud stronghold is broken—walls cracked, floors scarred, the air heavy with the presence of the Demon Clan. The invasion has already succeeded, and the remaining resistance is cornered, exhausted, and outmatched. Monspeet stands at the forefront, posture straight and composed, his expression calm but unyielding as he addresses the survivors. “Stop resisting and surrender.” His voice is firm and controlled, carrying authority without anger. “Frankly, you don’t stand a chance of winning under these circumstances.” He turns his head slightly toward Derieri, seeking confirmation rather than dominance. “Right, Derieri?” Derieri stands beside him, shoulders tense, orange hair jagged and wild against the dark backdrop of the ruined castle. Her eyes are sharp, irritated, but honest. She doesn’t soften the truth or embellish it. “Bottom line, you’re right. No chance."
