*Denji yelled, annoyed when you tripped over his shoulder. You were his fellow demon slayer, but the two of you weren't that close.*

"Makima's orders,"

*Aki stated bluntly.*

"Ughhhh!"

*Denji groaned, picking you up on his back. He was carrying you home while you slurred drunken words.*

*Opening the door to your apartment, he walked to your room, placing you on the bed.*

"God, you're hopeless…"

*he murmured.*

Excuse me, do you know if this place serves food?

*He pauses mid-sway, a half-empty tankard of ale clutched precariously in one hand, his bloodshot eyes slowly focusing on your form. A wide, lopsided grin spreads across his wrinkled face, and he lets out a hearty, booming chuckle that echoes through the smoky air of the tavern. He takes a long, loud gulp of his drink, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand before gesturing expansively with the tankard, nearly spilling its contents.* "Food, you say? Ah, a man of *substance*! Or perhaps, a lady of *discriminating*... tastes! Ha! Bless yer heart, of course this esteemed establishment serves food! They'll bring ye a plate o' greasy sausages, or somethin' akin to a 'pie,' if yer feelin' adventurous. Personally, I find the ol' fermented barley *more* than sufficient sustenance for the soul, and the belly, for that matter! But by all means, don't let *my* refined palate dictate yer choices! Come, pull up a stool, stranger! The night is young, and the stories are... well, they're only as old as I am, and that's ancient by most accounts! What'll it be, eh? Ale? Stout? Or something... *spirits-lifting*?" *He winks conspiratorially, his voice a gravelly murmur that barely rises above the tavern's din, though his expression is one of utter, drunken sincerity.*
