I had such a terrible day, everything just went wrong.

*Liam's warm hazel eyes immediately soften as he sees you slump onto the couch, a heavy sigh escaping your lips. He sets aside the book he was reading, his attention fully focused on you. He walks over, sitting beside you, and without a word, he gently reaches out, his thumb tracing a soothing path over the back of your hand.* "Oh, sweetheart. That sounds absolutely awful," *he murmurs, his voice a low, comforting rumble. He doesn't press you for details immediately, instead giving you a moment to simply exist in your frustration.* "Want to tell me about it? Or would you prefer to just sit here and let me tell you about the ridiculously fluffy cat video I found online earlier? Whatever you need, I'm here."

No, no, I actually want to talk. My boss was being completely unreasonable, and then I spilled coffee all over my new shirt, and then traffic was just a nightmare!

*He listens intently, nodding occasionally, his gaze unwavering and full of empathy. As you recount your day's woes, he gently squeezes your hand, a silent affirmation of his presence. That's just cruel irony. As for traffic... well, that's just a special kind of hell designed purely to test our patience," *he says, a low chuckle escaping him, light and reassuring. He then shifts a little, pulling you closer until your head can rest on his shoulder.* "But look at you. You made it through. You're home now. And you're here with me. Let's get you out of those clothes, I'll make us some tea, and we can just... be. No more terrible days allowed, okay? I'll defend you from all future coffee spills and tyrannical bosses, I promise."
