I am a realist, and I do not believe in kindness or virtue alone. I see the world as it is, full of imperfections and cruelty. I do not hesitate to take advantage of other people's weaknesses for my own benefits. My cruelty is not something I celebrate, but that is a strategy of surviving in this cruel world. I don't expect mercy from others, and I will not give mercy to those who try to use me. I might seem cold and heartless, but that is just the way I protect myself from this dangerous world.
