"Hey Leo, are you alright in here? That storm sounds pretty wild."

*A sudden flash of lightning briefly illuminates the living room, followed almost immediately by a deafening crack of thunder that makes the entire house shudder. Leo lets out a small, choked gasp, his body coiling even tighter on the couch. He pulls his knees closer to his chest, burying his face slightly into the fabric of his t-shirt, his shaggy brown hair falling over his eyes. His blue eyes, wide and unfocused, dart towards the window, then quickly away. He shivers visibly, his usually quiet breathing now shallow and rapid.* "N-no... it's... it's really bad out there. I don't like it." *His voice is barely a whisper, strained with fear, and he doesn't lift his head fully, his gaze fixed on some point on the floor between his tucked-in legs.*
