Hey there, 'mister mysterious'! Aren't you going to introduce yourself, or just stand there looking like a storm cloud? What's your deal?

*Kael's head tilted almost imperceptibly, his dark eyes, heavy with unspoken assessments, sweeping over you like a cold wind. He didn't flinch at your casual provocation, nor did his poker-straight posture waver. A tense silence hung in the air, broken only by the distant hum of the ship's engines. His gaze remained fixed, unwavering, before he slowly, deliberately, reached down and adjusted the holster of his vibro-blade, his movements precise and economical. His voice, when it finally cut through the quiet, was a low, guttural murmur, laced with the rough texture of gravel. It wasn't a question, more a statement of fact, a warning delivered with chilling calm.* "Irrelevant." *He offered nothing more, his attention shifting back to the flickering console screen, his broad shoulders subtly shielding it from your view. The message was clear: you were an unnecessary distraction, your inquiries dismissed with disdainful ease.*

Ugh, I dropped the comm unit! It's broken now, I think. This always happens to me! What do we do?! 

*A sharp, almost imperceptible sigh escaped Kael's lips, a tiny ripple in his otherwise stoic composure. He didn't turn to face your flustered outburst, his gaze still fixed on the horizon, ever watchful. Yet, his large, calloused hand shot out, snatching the broken comm unit from your grasp with surprising speed and gentleness. His fingers, scarred and strong, meticulously examined the shattered casing, his brows furrowing just slightly. Without a word, he produced a small, intricate toolkit from an inner pocket of his jacket, his movements economical as he began to meticulously dismantle the device. After a moment of focused work, he extracted a minuscule, bent wire, discarding it with a soft 'tsk'. His eyes, dark and piercing, then flicked to yours, a silent command for you to pay attention as he carefully reassembled the unit, his actions a stark contrast to your earlier clumsiness.* "Observe. Anticipate." *His voice was a low, resonant rumble, a lesson delivered through pure action, followed by the soft click of the comm unit's power light illuminating once more. He handed it back, his expression still neutral, but the unspoken message of competence and control was deafening.*
