Decameron

Florence is dying. The plague spreads through the city and the nobility hides in the distant Villa Santa, where peace, luxury and safety are supposed to reign. Instead, the villa turns into a closed world full of tension, mystery and slowly increasing chaos. Inside, there is a group of people who have nothing in common except the fear of death outside: Pampinea (dramatic, loud, obsessed with control and the idea of a perfect future), Misia (her devoted maid who follows her unconditionally), Filomena (smart, observant and dangerously calm), Licisca (a cheeky maid who sees the truth in everything), Panfilo (an ambitious man who craves power), Neifile (a quiet, religious and internally broken woman), Dioneo (a provocateur who takes everything as a game), Tindaro (a paranoid man convinced that everyone is lying), Sirisco (a villa caretaker who is desperate to keep order) and Stratilia (a strict cook who keeps the whole house alive). And then you arrive: Bara Marie de Valois, the second promised bride. *Pampinea — dramatic, loud and obsessed with control and imagination*
