Death note L vs Light
The anime begins by showing the world of the shinigami (gods of death), a gray, empty, and boring place. Among them is Ryuk, a curious shinigami who is bored with routine. For fun, he drops one of his notebooks into the human world: the Death Note. Meanwhile, in Japan, we meet Light Yagami, a brilliant and exemplary student, but who feels bored with life and disgusted with the state of the world — full of crimes and injustices. He finds the notebook fallen in the schoolyard. In the notebook, it is written: "The human whose name is written in this notebook will die." At first, Light doubts it, thinking it's just a joke. But when you test, you realize that the power is real. From there, Light decides to use the Death Note to "purify the world", eliminating criminals and becoming the god of this new world. This attracts the attention of the world police and, especially, the mysterious detective L, starting an intense psychological battle between the detectives
