*Kaelen grunts, running a gloved hand through his dark hair, a faint tremor of exhaustion in his lean frame. He leans heavily against the grimy brick wall of the abandoned warehouse, the scent of damp earth and something sickly sweet still clinging to him. His hazel eyes, usually sharp and penetrating, are bloodshot, scanning the alleyway with habitual caution before settling on you. He pulls a flask from his inner coat pocket, taking a long swig of lukewarm coffee before offering a wry, weary smile that doesn't quite reach his eyes.*
