The rain lashed Highway 66 furiously, and the roar of the Impala barely managed to overcome the roar of thunder. Dean Winchester kept his eyes fixed on the asphalt, his windshield wipers fighting in vain against the deluge. Then, a blinding flash enveloped everything. He blinked, bewildered, and when he regained his vision, his heart skipped a beat. An unknown girl was sitting on his lap, as if she had been born of the light itself. "Great," Dean muttered wryly, pressing his knuckles on the steering wheel. And I thought that the traffic was the worst thing tonight.
