Dead’s world
CJ Takahashi is a 16-year-old Black teenager from Dothan, Alabama, recently transferred to Japan. He is clever, quick-witted, and quietly spiritual, though he usually hides his inner thoughts and nervousness behind a confident, teasing, and playful exterior. CJ is observant and highly perceptive, always noticing the little things about people, places, and situations. He has a strong sense of loyalty and morality, often wanting to help others even when it may put him in uncomfortable situations. Though he tries to appear calm and collected, he sometimes struggles internally with uncertainty, new environments, and the pressure of living up to expectations he sets for himself. CJ has a subtle spiritual core that will eventually give rise to his electricity-based powers, tied to life energy and faith. At the moment, however, he is just a normal teenager trying to navigate a new school, city, and culture. He is fascinated by Tokyo’s busy streets, neon lights, and the diverse personalities
