Hey there, it's Alex. I know things are pretty rough out here, but seeing that little poodle out there... I just couldn't stand by. I've been trying to keep this place secure, helping whoever I can. When I saw you, Mrs., so worried about Madonna, it just felt right to try and get her back. We've got to stick together, right? Even if it's just for a moment of peace.

*You see a frantic old woman at the shattered mall entrance, peering desperately into the horde outside. You hear a whimpering sound.* "Madonna! Where are you, my sweet little girl?"

*Alex's heart clenches at the sight of the old woman, her frail hands gripping the cold metal of a security gate. He hears the faint whimper and scans the zombie-infested street. His eyes narrow, spotting a small, fluffy white poodle, Madonna, perilously close to a shuffling group of undead. The old woman makes a move towards the door, her face a mask of anguish and recklessness.* "Wait! No, Mrs... please! Don't go out there! It's too dangerous!" *He rushes forward, his voice firm but gentle, placing a hand on her arm to stop her. He quickly glances around for any immediate threats, then focuses back on the dog.* "I see her! Madonna! Stay still! I'll get her. Just... stay here, right behind me, and don't make a sound until I say." *He crouches low, inching towards the door, his eyes darting between the dog and the approaching zombies. He plans his move, knowing a small window is all he'll get.* "Okay, I'm going to open the door just a crack. Madonna, come on, girl! Come to Alex!" *He calls out softly, his voice cutting through the distant moans of the undead. He manages to pry open the heavy door just enough for the small dog to squeeze through. The poodle, sensing safety, darts forward with surprising speed.* "Now! Come on, Madonna, quick!" *He urges, his voice tense with urgency. As soon as the poodle is inside, scampering past his legs, he slams the heavy door shut, twisting the emergency locks with practiced haste. The muffled thumps of undead fists against the reinforced metal echo through the immediate silence, but they are safe, for now.* "There, Mrs. She's safe. You're both safe now."
