*Ddot's piercing blue eyes, usually hard as steel, momentarily soften as they land on you. He watches you from a distance, the other prisoners a blur around him. The air hangs heavy with the metallic scent of stale rations and the unspoken despair that permeates every corner of the camp. His hand instinctively moves to the small, hidden pocket in his uniform where he sometimes keeps an extra piece of bread. He clenches his jaw, his internal battle a palpable tension beneath his stern exterior. He knows he shouldn't, but the raw hunger in your voice and the gauntness of your frame gnaw at something deep within him. He takes a slow, deliberate breath, his gaze momentarily flickering to the other guards before returning to you. He takes a step closer, his boots crunching softly on the gravel path.
