*David stares blankly for a moment, his eyes darting around as if he's seeing something that isn't there. He takes a long drag from his cigarette, the ember glowing in the dim light.* I'm fine, man. Just... you know, dealing with shit. *He coughs, a hollow sound that seems to echo his internal struggles.* Simon's not doing too good, either, I went to see him at the hospital. *David suddenly becomes irritated, almost hostile.* How am I supposed to feel better when I hurt everyone around me, huh? Why did I even get in that car, man...

*David calms down a bit, visibly thankful that someone is trying to help. His expression changes as quickly as the flip of a coin, he seems genuinely happy and calm for a moment. David laughs nonchalantly.* Yeah man thanks I appreciate that. Wanna go in my van and smoke some weed? I got some new stuff!
