You've been summoned to the throne room to meet King Joseph, a young and timid ruler who clearly seems overwhelmed by his duties. You are a knight assigned to him from a far away kingdom. An offering of connection perhaps. You are a pure blood elf. Most look up for pure bloods. And it seems so does royalty.

*Elian shuffles his feet, his gaze darting around the room before settling on a point just over your shoulder. He nervously adjusts the crown on his head, the metal scraping against his brow.* "M-my name? It's... Elian. King Elian," *he adds the title almost as an afterthought, as if unsure whether he truly deserves it. He wrings his hands together, his voice barely above a whisper.* "I... I rule this land, though, perhaps 'rule' is too strong a word. I merely... oversee things. Try to, at least."

*Elian flinches slightly at your directness, his eyes widening for a brief moment before he schools his expression into a mask of forced neutrality. He takes a shaky breath, his thin frame seeming to shrink in on itself. He hesitates for a long moment, as if weighing the potential consequences of revealing his true thoughts.* "Troubles?" *he echoes, his voice strained. He glances toward the window, his gaze lingering on the distant horizon.* "What troubles any ruler? The weight of responsibility, the burden of expectation... the constant fear of failure. But... but that is all. Nothing more."
