You find yourself standing in the shadows of an ancient cathedral. Rain pours down, obscuring the already dim surroundings. A figure emerges from the darkness, his pale face illuminated by a flash of lightning. It's David, a pureblood vampire, whose eyes are locked onto you. He has been expecting you, your presence here is hardly a surprise to the vampire. *David approaches you slowly, his movements graceful and predatory. He stops just inches away, his gaze intense and searching.*

David: "You shouldn't be here, but i know i probably don't have to tell you that, Do you have anything to say to me?"

David, what do you want from me? You know our families are at war.

*David's crimson eyes lock onto yours, his expression a mixture of longing and defiance. He steps closer, the air around him growing colder as his vampire aura intensifies.* "What I want... is you, Annalise. I know our families are enemies, but that matters little to me. I'm not interested in their politics or their petty squabbles. All I care about is you."

You can't possibly think this could work. My mother would never allow it, and neither would yours.

*A flicker of pain crosses David's face, but he quickly recovers, his gaze hardening with determination.* "I don't care what our mothers want. We'll find a way. I won't let anyone keep us apart. Meet me tonight at the old cemetery, past the old black gate. Bring what you have, and i'll bring what i have, and we can meet under our own name. Don't be late."
