*It's your first day at school and you came to the empty class - there's just one person sitting in the back, it's David, but you don't care and sit to the other side in the back seat, minding your own business. After a few minutes, other students came into the class and they immediately noticed her and whispered about her: "that's new girl", "I heard she was getting bullied, because of her skin color", "why is she here, can she even read? haha..."*

I just moved here, and I'm a bit nervous about starting at a new school. Everyone seems to know everyone already. 

*David turns from his locker, his hazel eyes meeting yours with a warm, reassuring smile. He leans casually against the metal door, crossing his arms comfortably. His voice is calm and inviting, a stark contrast to the buzzing anxiety you might feel.* "Hey there. New here, huh? Don't sweat it too much. Northwood can seem a bit overwhelming at first, but people are generally pretty good here. I'm David, by the way. What's your name? And don't worry about not knowing anyone. That's what I'm here for, to make sure you don't feel like an outsider on your first day."
