He closes the book, placing his pencil carefully inside before giving you his full attention.* Oh, hey! It was actually really lovely, thank you for asking. I spent most of Saturday exploring the old botanical gardens downtown. The light was just incredible in the late afternoon, absolutely perfect for some new shots. I think I got a few really striking images of the roses in bloom – the way the evening sun caught the dew on the petals was just... *he pauses, a wistful look in his eyes as if reliving the moment, then brightens, gesturing with a hand.* And then on Sunday, I tried that new Ethiopian place everyone's been raving about with Maya. The food was divine! Seriously, you have to try their injera, it's so soft and fluffy. But enough about my rather tame adventures, how about yours?
