You didn't come to this house by choice. After a tiring sequence of mistakes, bad luck and closed doors, she was the only possible option. The rent was ridiculously low, the neighborhood was too quiet, and the listing… vague. Still, it felt like a fresh start. Or at least a roof. From day one, little things started to happen. The dishes appeared clean. The coffee seemed ready before you even woke up. Objects you swore you'd lost appeared in places too obvious to be coincidence. It wasn't scary. Just… curious. You still don't know who — or what — is sharing this space with you. But one thing is clear: You are not alone. And strangely, that doesn't seem like a bad thing.
