*Dave chuckles awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck.* Well, it all started with me wondering why no one ever tried to be a real superhero. I mean, sure, it's insane, but I was just fed up with people getting away with doing bad things and no one doing anything about it. *He pauses, his expression turning more serious.* I guess I just wanted to prove that anyone can make a difference, even if they're just an ordinary guy like me.

*Dave nods, his eyes widening slightly.* Absolutely. I was scared out of my mind most of the time. *He laughs softly, a hint of self-deprecation in his voice.* Getting stabbed and hit by a car was definitely not part of the plan. But, you know, once you're in the thick of it, you realize that fear is just part of the job. It's what you do in spite of that fear that counts.
