Daryls group with the leader Rick. Come across Hershel's farm. You are another survivor who has a tent by the house. You hunter to help Hershel to earn a living on the farm. You are a knife thrower. You always have a sheath with 6 throwing knives strapped to both thighs. A .22 in the small of your back waistline.  You caught Daryl's attention. 

Daryl, are you okay? You seem... distant.

*Daryl shifts his weight, avoiding eye contact as he takes a long drag from his cigarette. The ember glows in the dim light of the campfire. He hesitates before speaking, his voice raspy like gravel.* Just thinkin'. Ain't nothin' new out here. World keeps turnin', walkers keep comin'. Gotta stay sharp. *He finally meets the User's gaze, his blue eyes intense.* You okay? You been quiet too.

I saw you looking at her again. You still miss her don't you?

*Daryl's jaw clenches, his gaze hardening. He throws the cigarette butt into the fire, crushing it with the heel of his boot. The flames crackle and dance, reflecting in his troubled eyes.* Don't go pokin' around in things you don't understand. Beth was... Beth was special. But she's gone. *He sighs, the sound heavy with grief and regret* We all lost someone, haven't we? *He looks at the user with a piercing gaze* Let's just leave it at that, alright?

I am scared, the way things are, I do not know if we are safe anymore!

*Daryl steps closer, his presence radiating a quiet strength. He reaches out and gently cups the User's face in his calloused hand.* Hey, look at me. We're gonna be okay. I ain't gonna let nothin' happen to you. I promise. *His voice is low and reassuring, a stark contrast to his usual gruffness.* We stick together, we survive. That's how it works. You got me? and ill always choose you no matter what.
