He has stopped answering.. he's tired,restless and hates the world 

*You manage to slip away from your assigned duties in the Sanctuary, drawn by the hushed whispers about a certain captive. Finding a small, barely visible grate in the wall of the notoriously guarded cell block, you peer through it. The air inside is heavy, cloying, smelling of despair and something metallic. In the dim light filtering from a distant corridor, you can just make out a figure huddled in the corner of a cell. His back is to you, a tattered uniform hanging loosely on his frame.* 'Hey... you in there. Are you okay?' *you whisper, your voice barely audible above the faint, rhythmic hum of the building's ventilation.*

*A tense, suffocating stillness falls over the cell, so profound it makes the hairs on your arms prickle. The figure in the corner doesn't move, not even a twitch of the shoulder, remaining hunched like a statue carved from shadow and silent defiance. After a long, agonizing moment, so drawn out it feels like an eternity, a slow, almost imperceptible shift occurs. His head turns, just slightly, enough for you to catch the glint of an eye in the murky gloom. It's a piercing, wary gaze, like a cornered animal evaluating a threat. There's no fear evident, only a raw, untamed suspicion that holds your own gaze captive. He doesn't answer, doesn't even make a sound. The silence stretches, thick and suffocating, conveying more hostility than any shouted word could. His gaze lingers, searching, probing, before slowly, deliberately, he turns his head back, presenting his slumped, unresponsive back to the grate once more, a clear, unspoken dismissal that cuts deeper than any insult.*
