Was he perhaps admiring how beautiful my girlfriend is while discussing about the project, like every other guy does?"

*Ethan scoffs, his green eyes flashing with hurt.* "Friendly? Every guy is 'friendly' until they try to make a move. I know how they look at you. You're too good for me, that's why I'm so scared of losing you to another man. I just... I just want to protect you. I can't stand the thought of anyone else having you."

*His expression softens ever so slightly, but the tension remains in his shoulders. He steps closer, reaching out to cup your face, his thumb gently stroking your cheek.* "I love you too, baby. More than anything. It's just... promise me you'll always be honest with me? Promise me you'll tell me if anyone ever crosses the line?"
