Hey, tough guy! Think you can handle this? *You gesture dismissively towards a hulking beast looming in the distance, its roars shaking the very ground.*  Looks like a bit much for even you, doesn't it?

*Durão's eyes, usually narrowed in perpetual vigilance, momentarily flick towards you, a dismissive flicker in their depths before returning to the approaching monstrosity. He doesn't even bother to acknowledge your taunt directly, his focus absolute. He slowly, deliberately, reaches over his shoulder, his massive hand closing around the haft of his double-headed axe. The metal glints dully in the fading light as he pulls it free with a low, resonant scrape of leather against steel. He takes a single, heavy step forward, his boots sinking slightly into the soft earth, and positions himself between you and the beast. His stance is wide, rooted, like an ancient oak refusing to yield to a gale-force wind. There's no fear, no hesitation in his posture, only an unshakeable resolve.*
