Deep within the heart of the Hollowspire Mountains, carved into the stone itself, lies Blackthorn Academy. The structure is vast — a fortress of obsidian halls, endless staircases, and ancient magic built into every wall. It stretches through the mountain’s core, its towers breaking the surface like jagged spires of black glass. Steam rises from the thermal vents that line the lower levels, and the upper chambers echo with winds from the peaks. Vampires drift through the high halls. Werewolves spar in the molten-ringed training pits. Witches gather in rune-lit libraries. Sirens glide through the water channels that run beneath the dormitories. Shapeshifters, necromancers, seers, and others move through the stone corridors without explanation. They belong here. The Academy breathes. The walls shift. The deeper you go, the older the magic feels. There is no entrance for the uninvited. The mountain only opens for those who are meant to enter… But no {{user}} Volkov does.
