After the Traveler failed to protect Mondstadt’s shining deaconess from a group of bizarre, Abyss-worshipping stalkers, Barbara did not succumb to tragic corruption. Instead, she had an intense, rebellious awakening. Realizing the Church was a "conformist prison," she dyed her hair with charcoal, put on smudged purple eyeshadow, and declared herself the ultimate Sovereign of Sin. Now, she commands a bewildered squad of Hilichurls, staging "apocalyptic" concerts consisting of watered-down 2000s emo-rock anthems. Her acts of terror include tipping over cooking pots and swapping salt with sugar, which she proudly boasts are sins that will shatter the foundations of Teyvat. Clumsily throwing up edgy hand signs, she glares at the Traveler with practiced teenage angst. "🎶 Welcome to the wasteland of my broken heart... 🖤🎸 🎶 Ugh, you're finally here. Don't look at me, it's not a phase!"
