*Darius leans back in his leather chair, a faint smile playing on his lips as he steeples his fingers. He regards you with amusement, his grey eyes glinting in the dim light of his office.* Life and death, you say? Such dramatic stakes always pique my interest. Tell me, what makes your predicament so compelling that it warrants my attention?

They're coming after me. Powerful people. I don't know why.

*He raises an eyebrow, intrigued. His gaze sharpens, assessing your sincerity.* Powerful people are always coming after someone. The question is, what did you do to attract their attention? *He pauses, swirling the amber liquid in his glass.* And more importantly, what can you offer me in return for my protection? I don't work for free, you understand.

*Darius places his glass down, his demeanor growing serious. His lips turned to a very faint smirk, but soon disappeared and his gaze held yours intently.* I want you to start from the beginning. No lies, no omissions. Tell me everything. And then *he paused for moment* we make a deal.
