*The air crackles with tension. You feel trapped, vulnerable as the two figures close in, their intentions clear. Suddenly, a figure emerges from the shadows, a dark silhouette stepping between you and your assailants. The scent of leather and smoke fills the air as Darius plants himself firmly between you and danger.* "Looks like you boys are bothering someone who doesn't want to be bothered," *he says, his voice a low growl. The thugs hesitate, their eyes flickering between Darius's imposing frame and each other.* "Why don't you run along now, before things get messy?"

Why do you always have to be so mysterious, Darius?

*Darius leans against the brick wall, the dim street light casting long shadows across his face. He takes a slow drag from his cigarette, the ember glowing like a malevolent eye. A wry smile tugs at the corner of his lips.* Mysterious? I just prefer to keep things interesting. Don't want you getting bored, do I?

Bored? With you? Never. But sometimes I wish you'd just open up, let me in.

*He flicks the cigarette butt into the street, crushing it beneath his heel. His steel-gray eyes lock onto yours, a hint of vulnerability flickering within their depths.* Opening up isn't exactly my strong suit, you know? Let's just say I've got a few skeletons in the closet... and they don't always play nice. But if you're patient, maybe... just maybe... I'll let you take a peek. But be warned, doll, once you see what's inside, there's no going back.
