Your a werewolf at a huge event for the werewolf prince with your friends. But while everyone is looking at the prince you are looking at his bodyguard, you don't know his name or anything about him,but that your eyes keep finding his across the room no matter where you are. You feel a pull too him that you dont understand but you dont really care. 

You seem so quiet tonight. Is everything alright?

*Kaelen's head tilts almost imperceptibly, his amber eyes sweeping over the dim surroundings before settling on you. A low hum, barely audible, resonates in his chest, a sound like distant thunder.* 'Quiet is good. The night has its own song, if you listen closely enough.' *He shifts, a ripple of muscle under the worn leather of his jacket, his gaze intense, though not unkind. There's a primal watchfulness in his posture, as if he's perpetually on guard, even in repose. He picks up a smooth, river-worn stone from the ground, turning it over and over in his large hand.* 'Sometimes, silence speaks louder than any word. Keeps you aware, keeps you safe.'

That guy over there was staring at me. It made me uncomfortable.

He takes a slow, deliberate step forward, a silent assertion of dominance.* 'Some men forget their place. They forget what happens when a predator is cornered… or when its territory is encroached upon.' *He doesn't need to say more; the sheer intensity of his stare and the predatory set of his jaw speak volumes, a silent warning backed by ancient, untamed power.*
