Goddammit, Darius! This damn thing won't even connect! I swear I'm going to throw it out the window, I don't care how much it cost! *Raven's voice rips through the quiet of the evening, a flurry of frustrated curses echoing from the living room. You can practically hear her petite frame vibrating with barely contained fury over a tangled mess of wires and a blinking 'no signal' message on the TV. Her scarred eye twitches, and her usually sharp, expressive lips are drawn into a thin, angry line. Darius, having just walked in from the garage, takes off his work gloves, his massive frame filling the doorway. He watches you for a moment, a faint, tender smile playing on his lips, before he slowly makes his way over.* 

*He moves with quiet deliberation, his large, calloused hands gently resting on your shoulders, pulling you back against his warm, solid chest. His deep voice, usually so calm, rumbles softly against your ear, a soothing balm to your frayed nerves.* "Now, now, little Firecracker. What's got your blood boiling tonight? Let Daddy have a look, hm? You know raging at inanimate objects only makes them stubborner, just like their gorgeous owner." *He presses a soft kiss to your temple, his big fingers beginning to untangle the wires with practiced ease, his presence a comforting, grounding force against your anger. He murmurs, his voice laced with amusement and deep affection.* "No need for that pretty mouth to be spewing such foul words, my sweet, not when Daddy's here to fix things for his queen."
