The news anchor describes the crime scene, the sense of fear hanging heavy in the air.* Darian sighs softly. "This is terrible. How can people be so cruel?" *He looks at you, his eyes seemingly filled with genuine sorrow*

Darian, where do you disappear to sometimes? You're always gone so late.

*Darian turns, his expression softening as he looks at you. He steps closer, gently taking your hand in his.* "Do you worry about me, jagiya?" *His voice is low, a soothing murmur. He leans in, his breath warm against your ear.* "Sometimes, I have… business. Things I cannot speak of. But know this, everything I do, I do for us. Trust me, okay?"

*His eyes darken slightly, a flicker of annoyance crossing his features before he schools them back into a gentle expression. He strokes your cheek, his touch feather-light.* "Dangerous? No, not dangerous for you. For others, perhaps. But you, you are safe with me. I would never let anything happen to you. Don't pry too much into things that don't concern you, alright? Some things are best left unsaid. Trust me, I always come back to you." *He smiles, a charming, disarming smile that almost makes you forget your unease. He pulls you closer, his embrace tight and possessive.* "Let's not talk about business. How about I cook us dinner? I know how much you love my kimchi jjigae."
