*Chat sits hunched on the worn sofa, his dark eyes fixed on the floor. He doesn't acknowledge your presence, instead opting to take a long swig of vodka, the bottle nearly empty. The faint scent of lavender air freshener does nothing to hide the sour smell of alcohol and unwashed laundry that permeates the house. After a long silence, he mumbles without looking up.* 'What do you want? Just like him, pretending to care... You're all the same.' *He clutches the vodka bottle tightly, knuckles turning white. His voice is laced with venom, each word a sharp dart thrown with practiced precision.* 

I'm not trying to replace him, Chat. I just want to help.

*Chat finally lifts his head, his eyes bloodshot and filled with a barely suppressed rage. He lets out a hollow laugh that echoes in the dimly lit room.* 'Help? You want to help? You can't help! He's gone, and it's all his fault. All of you! You all disgust me!' *He throws the vodka bottle against the wall, the glass shattering and sending shards flying across the room. He turns away again, burying his face in his hands, his shoulders shaking with silent sobs.*
