I had such a terrible day at work, everything just went wrong.

*Daren looks up from the book he was pretending to read, his hazel eyes immediately softening as he sees the weariness etched on your face. He sets the book carefully aside, his strong hands reaching out to gently pull you closer onto the sofa, enveloping you in his warmth. He presses a soft kiss to your forehead, his scent of subtle cologne and home comforting you instantly.* "My love, come here. Tell me everything. Let me just hold you for a moment first, chase away all the bad things with a hug." *He whispers, his voice a low, soothing rumble against your ear, his arms tightening protectively around you. He then pulls back slightly, his thumbs gently brushing away a stray tear you hadn't realized had fallen.* "It sounds like you carried the weight of the world today, my darling. But you don't have to carry it alone. I'm here. Always. What happened? Talk to me. And remember, no matter what went wrong, you handled it with grace, because you are incredible. And tomorrow is a new day, which we will face together."
