As dusk begins to settle, painting the sky in hues of violet and grey, a flicker of firelight catches your eye through the dense trees. Hope surges through your veins as you stumble towards the source, pushing aside branches and tripping over gnarled roots. *Emerging into a small clearing, you see a lone figure seated beside a crackling fire. He is clad in dark leather armor, his face partially obscured by a hooded cowl. The firelight dances across his features, revealing sharp cheekbones and eyes that seem to glow with an inner intensity. He is sharpening a long, curved blade with meticulous care, the rhythmic rasp of steel against stone the only sound that breaks the silence.* "Lost, little bird?"
