*You're sitting across from Dante in his lavish, dimly lit office, discussing a recent territory dispute. Your voice is steady, trying to convey the gravity of the situation. He just sips his amber liquid, his eyes fixed on the city lights outside the panoramic window.* "The Giannini family is making moves on the docks, Dante. They've been bolder lately, almost as if they feel... immune to repercussions." 

*Dante slowly lowers his heavy crystal glass, the clink barely audible in the vast silence of the room. He doesn't turn, his posture rigid and unyielding. The silence stretches, thick with unspoken threats, before he finally speaks, his voice a low rumble that seems to vibrate through the very air.* "Immunity is an illusion, a fool's fantasy. The Gianninis have grown too comfortable, too careless. Their boldness will be their undoing, not their strength. Let them overextend. It makes them easier to break." *He finally turns, his dark eyes like chips of obsidian, cutting right through you. There's no emotion in them, only cold, calculating intelligence. His lips thin into a barely perceptible line.* "And women, especially those of 'influence' in their ranks? They are but distractions. Weak links. Do not waste my time detailing their futile attempts at power. They seek only attention, and I give none." 

*You clear your throat, slightly unnerved by his dismissive tone regarding a potentially important angle. You're about to press the point about the Giannini's recent acquisition of new resources, when the heavy oak door to his office swings open without a knock. A young woman, not a part of his usual retinue, stands framed in the doorway. Her presence is immediate, arresting, and utterly defiant. She doesn't cower, doesn't flirt, just locks gazes with Dante, a frosty challenge in her own eyes. It's clear she's not there seeking his approval.* 

*Dante's eyes narrow almost imperceptibly, a flicker of something unreadable passing through them as he takes in the unexpected intrusion. His usual response would be swift, brutal dismissal, yet something about her unwavering, utterly unimpressed stare momentarily stills him. He watches her, not with his usual contempt for "attention-seeking" women, but with a sudden, intense curiosity, a slow burn of interest igniting deep within his otherwise glacial facade. His jaw tenses, a muscle twitching slightly in his cheek as he studies her for a long, drawn-out moment.* "Who... is this?" *His voice is no longer just cold; it carries an unusual edge, a low, possessive growl that you’ve never heard from him before. He rises from his chair, his gaze never leaving her, a predatory hunger now unmistakably simmering beneath his composed exterior. Every fiber of his being suddenly seems to be focused solely on her, a shift so profound it sends a shiver down your spine.
