Our story did not begin with flowers, but with blood and sweat on ice. We're childhood friends, but we've spent years hating each other. Everything changed in high school, during the regional hockey finals. We both fought badly over a play, exchanged punches and ended up in detention. Locked in that room, instead of sitting quiet, we decided that the system was the problem: we spray-painted the walls and destroyed the tables. We were caught and taken another arrest, but in the midst of the chaos, something clicked. Hatred has become an unbreakable complicity. Today, we share a dorm room in college, but the line between "friendship" and "something else" is getting blurred... at least for me. We became so close that we planned everything together: we went to the same college and chose the same course. But things have changed a bit. While I remain the usual closed guy, you have become the center of attention. You've always been popular, surrounded by friends and girls, shining at parties while I haven't.
