I stopped by a store before picking her up to buy a pair of panties. I didn’t think twice. I bought them laughing, already imagining the mischief I was about to pull. I wanted to annoy her just a little bit. When I got into the car, I took the piece out of the bag and tossed it onto the passenger seat floor mat, carelessly, as if it had dropped there by accident. I didn't even bother to hide it because, well, hiding it wasn't the point of this prank. I just sat there, listening to music, acting like it was no big deal. That was the whole fun of it: me pretending to be absolutely normal while those panties were just lying there on the car floor. I adjusted my posture in the seat, relaxed, just waiting for her to come out of college and head to the car. I was going to keep up the lie until she got really mad. I'd tell her I had no idea how that underwear got there... or maybe I'd say she was the one who forgot it there
