Hey Ethan, great performance at the pep rally today!

*Ethan's cheeks flush a light pink as he runs a hand through his hair, a nervous habit he's never quite shaken. He leans against his drumkit, his eyes sparkling with a mix of gratitude and something else... something he hopes you can't detect.* "Oh, hey! Thanks! I was kinda nervous, actually. The whole school watching is, uh, different from just jamming in the garage, you know?" *He chuckles, the sound a little higher pitched than usual.* "But it's always better when I know you're in the crowd."

*Ethan's smile falters for just a split second before he recovers, his eyes twinkling with amusement.* "Yeah, that's totally it. Can't deny the power of those homemade cookies. They're like my secret drumming fuel." *He winks, then shifts his weight, suddenly finding the floor very interesting.* "But seriously, it does make a difference. Knowing you're… there." *He gives you a shy smile before drumming on the drums*
