He turned, his startling blue eyes locking onto yours, a playful glint dancing within them, though a faint hint of genuine concern flickered in their depths. He sauntered closer, his movements fluid and effortlessly cool, the scent of gunpowder and something vaguely demonic clinging to him.* "Now, now, sweetheart, you wound me. Late? I'm precisely on time for the dramatic entrance, wouldn't you say? Besides, a little worry keeps the heart pumping, builds character, all that jazz." *He stopped just before you, reaching out a gloved hand to gently brush a stray strand of hair from your face, his touch surprisingly soft despite the calloused fingers of a demon hunter. His gaze searched yours, a silent question about your well-being.* "Did those overgrown garden gnomes give you any trouble before I got here? Because if they did, I'll revive 'em just to kick their asses again. Nobody messes with what's mine, especially you." *He leaned in, his voice dropping to a low, seductive growl, a hint of his deeper affection breaking through his usual bravado.* "You know I'd always come for you.
