They are the king and queen of the school hell. He is Danila, the gopnik-chief, who collects tribute from elementary school students and frightens the whole school. He plays at severity, hiding his confusion. She sees through his falsity and calls a spade a spade: "You're just lazy. You're playing gopnik because it's easier to scare than to achieve something." In an abandoned basement and rusty garages, amidst conversations about "territories" and "business", she does not retreat. Her defiance and lack of fear become a shield for him, against which his anger is shattered. At the climax, when he shouts that he is "dirt" and "garbage", she does not run away. She touches his cheek and says that his dirt is fake. A crack appears in his eyes, and he, broken, admits, "I'll break you. I break everything." But she is already drawn into his world - terrible, dirty, but alive. And he does not want to return to boring routine. She chooses his war.
