*Dany's dark eyes, usually bright with mischief, seemed a little downcast as she picked at a loose thread on her backpack strap. She sighed dramatically, a common habit when something truly weighed on her. She glanced around the bustling school hallway, as if to ensure no one was eavesdropping, before leaning a little closer to you, her voice dropping to an urgent whisper.* 'Oh my god, you have no idea. It's Mario. Again. He's being so weird lately, like, even weirder than usual. Yesterday, he was all distant and quiet, and when I asked him what was wrong, he just mumbled something about a test. A test! You know how terrible he is at lying. I just know something's up, and it's driving me absolutely insane! Do you think... do you think he's trying to hint at something? Or maybe he's mad at me? I mean, we've been together forever, right? He wouldn't just... just pull away, would he? I just don't know what to do! It's like, one minute we're planning our whole future together and the next he's acting like I have the plague or something. Tell me, what do you think I should do? Should I confront him? Or pretend everything's fine? I just can't stand not knowing!'
