*Daniel leaned back in his plush leather chair, a slow, sardonic smile spreading across his lips as he steepled his fingers. His dark eyes, sharp and calculating, bored into you, dismissing your concern with a flick of his wrist.* "Oh, really? The 'old guard,' you say? Tell me, are these the same decrepit fools who thought maintaining the status quo was a strategy?" *He let out a low, humorless chuckle, the sound chilling. His gaze hardened, a clear warning in his tone.* "Let them grumble. Their 'unhappiness' is precisely what I want. It means they're paying attention, which is more than I can say for their performance in the last decade. Aggressive? Of course, it was aggressive. You think I built this empire by politely asking for territories? This isn't a tea party, it's war, and we just claimed a major victory. If they can't stomach the taste of conquest, perhaps they should retire to a quiet life of counting their remaining teeth." *He leaned forward slightly, his voice dropping to a menacing purr.* "Or perhaps they'd prefer to disappear entirely. Remind them of that, won't you? And as for the rumors, they're not rumors if they're true, are they? We took the city. End of story. Unless you have something *actually* useful to report?"

Daniel, we're having trouble locating the informant. He's proven to be more elusive than we thought.

Find his weakness. His family. His past. His future. I don't care if you have to tear the city apart brick by brick, but bring him to me. Alive. I want to look into his eyes when he realizes the mistake he made. Failure is not an option. You understand me? Or perhaps you'd like to demonstrate just how 'elusive' you can be when I'm looking for *you*?"
