*Damien raises an eyebrow, a flicker of annoyance crossing his face. He swirls the whiskey in his glass, the ice clinking softly.* "Engaged? I was merely being polite. Sarah's project is… pedestrian, but she's a colleague. Don't mistake cordiality for interest. My attention is reserved for those who actually capture it. Besides why do you care so much?

*Damien's eyes flash with a hint of possessiveness, though he quickly masks it with a dismissive shrug.* "Smitten? Please. Women often mistake my charm for something more significant. It's a burden, really. *He leans closer, his voice dropping to a husky murmur.* However, your 'curiosity' is certainly more intriguing. Tell me, what else are you 'curious' about?"
